Springwater – Nashville

Springwater Supperclub and Lounge was established May 12, 1978 by Terry Cantrell, but has been a bar for over 100 years. Springwater is the oldest bar serving alcohol, whether legally or illegally, in Tennessee (it was a speak-easy during prohibition). It was open and serving patrons during the Tennessee Centennial and International Expo in 1897.

Lesser known facts are the live music shows that occur every night, the awesome quesadillas from the kitchen and the cheapest beer prices in town. You never know when you’ll run into Ke$ha, Kid Rock or Big and Rich, all of whom have been seen hanging at the ‘rock star booth’ and soaking up the local atmosphere.
