  • Just a few steps down the east alleyway, the first door to your right opens into Rosie O’Grady’s Good Time Emporium. Rosie’s was the birthplace of Seville Quarter here in Pensacola as well as Church Street Station in Orlando.

Everything began in this room with beer, peanuts, and goodtime Dixieland jazz. The featured drink in Rosie’s is our famous Flaming Hurricane with souvenir glass. The building that houses Rosie’s was built in 1871 as the Pensacola Cigar and Tobacco Co.

The main door into Rosie’s came from a mansion in Mobile and the other doorway from a townhouse in England. The original room in 1967 was much rougher, with concrete floors and little fine detail. After achieving notable success, Bob Snow, as a labor of love, remodeled Rosie’s with its grand woodwork, pressed tin ceiling and other lavish details you see now.
