Ruby’s Roadhouse – Mandeville

Ruby’s Roadhouse has been bringing the best of the music world to its stage for 32 years – in a 125 year old building. We have had the best local musicians, local, national and some international musicians.Our music line-up includes musicians such as Louisiana’s famous son, Tab Benoit, local bands Supercharger, The Boogie Men, Rockin’ Dopsie, Big Daddy O,Eric Lindell, Johnny Sansone, Waylon Thibodeaux, Beau Soleil, and many of these have international fame, The Radiators were at Ruby’s in the early days and they also played for our 25th anniversary party. Anders Osborn had a regular gig at Ruby’s when he first came to Louisiana. One of our most favorite nights was just after Katrina and the Chris LeBlanc Band from Baton Rouge played and it was a such memorable, emotional gig. Over the years we were fortunate to have Maria Muldaur on stage and John Fred and the Playboys. And Steven Seagal even found his way to Ruby’s and played a gig. We have the best music in the world in our area.

Sunday thru Thursday Ruby’s is a local neighborhood bar – with pool teams and dart teams. But its much more that that – it’s a place where friends meet and share their stories, lots of laughter and fun.Our clientele includes white collar and blue collar people and all ages from 21 to 93. We get a lot of tourists passing thru and we get to hear their stories too. It is a place where many of our customers have become our good friends. We have been here long enough that old customers “kids” are of one and come into Ruby’s. We even had a Tibetan Lama here for an Abita beer and wrote a blessing on the wall. Car and Driver magazine picked us as one of the top 10 roadhouses in the country.

We are smoke free every Friday and Saturday nights during live music performances – 8pm to close.
